Day Based Services - Progressive Directions, Inc.

Day Based Services - PDICenter Based Program:

  • Staffing ratios - Based on the need of the individual
  • Developmental Services - Training in developing and maintaining life skills
  • Vocational Services - Training in self-help, socialization, work ethics and adaptive skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment
  • Employment opportunities with in-house subcontract work activities

Community Based Program:

  • Supported Employment Services - Provide ongoing support to those individuals in competitive work settings
  • Provide services in obtaining such employment opportunities
  • Follow Along Services - Provide support to those individuals employed in either a group setting or an individual basis
  • Employment Opportunities - Contracts provide employment for individuals served through lawn maintenance services at Fort Campbell and in Nashville, also through janitorial services at Fort Campbell and locally.

Day Based Services - PDIWho do we Serve?

  • Adults age 22 or older
  • Adults with a diagnosis of mental retardation as defined by the American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities with an IQ less than 69
  • Approval by Department of Mental Retardation

Special Needs that Qualify an Adult:

  • Intellectual Disabilities
  • Autism
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Brain Trauma

What Services are Offered?

  • Daily Living Skills Training
  • Socialization Skills
  • Self-help Skills
  • Community Integration Skills Training
  • Residential Care services provided from 24 hour care to limited care as appropriate and required

Buddy Ball provides individuals with a mental or physical disability the opportunity to sports, regardless of their limitations. Buddy Ball helps individuals learn teamwork and promotes self-esteem, one of the tools needed to help overcome the stigma often associated with a disability.

Kids Depot

Established in 1999, Kids Depot is a state licensed facility providing before and after school care for elementary school age children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We have a mini school bus for transportation, and currently serve Sango Elementary & East Montgomery Elementary.
